Coming To A Theater Near You
Linux Squared was conceived back in 2008 and has been through several beta releases and one stable release. This will be the last section to come online here at my site. This transition might take a year to make.
When finished. Linux Squared will be offered in three versions. A Desktop version; a Server version; and a Multimedia version. These versions will be provided as a simple solution to Windows for the end-user.
To gain wide acceptance focus will be given to launching and providing support for the desktop version first. Followed by the Server version and then the Multimedia version with each release to take at least a year of development between launches of the different versions.
Subsequent releases will be undertaken once a year to provide increased stabilization. A support forum is available for end-users.
Development So Far
Linux Squared Desktop version is slated to be released sometime after the first of the year. The first stable version having already been released for practical use has had great reviews.
The magic to the system is the unparalleled support that users receive in learning a new operating system and it’s simplicity. Development has not been without challenges and at least one major operating problem was encountered by users with the filing system. No loss of information was experienced by users, but undesired behavior was.
