Modern Day Direct Response Marketing Products

I understand that manufacturing is struggling to find employees, so bounties are now being paid. You can see similar programs for IT personnel. Tons of jobs; no employees. I was looking into “UI / UX / WD” web professional salaries that now-a-days start out at about $90,000.00 …… I’ll take it!!!

While marketing my skills Online I happened upon an availability figure from an advertisement from “Elance” and another from “oDesk”. One promotes 1 million, 3 hundred thousand available professionals ready to go to work for you, while the other touts roughly 1.4 million contractors, with more than 2,000 new workers joining the online workforce every day. Talk about disparaging figures!  :(

It doesn’t look like there is a lack of IT workers to me! Oh …… those kinds of workers! Those that want to get-up every morning at the same time, hassle with the kids, jump the car, bludgeon their way through traffic, put-up with their employers shit, put-up with the employees shit, put-up with the copy-boy’s shit, deal with a million and one good folks while trying to get lunch, only to face a heavier than expected work-load upon return, jump the car …… again, sit in traffic for most of the time that it takes to make their way back home through traffic, only to find they have no dinner and have to go out …… oh joy!

And you …… well you want to sit at home and drink your own coffee with the cat on your lap in your bedroom slippers and work, yeah …… well, you and everyone else online! Right now I’m hitting at about 1 in 100 job applications that I compete for. This is indeed the reality of “working from home” or Online. So ……

It is any wonder that when people are confronted with a slick landing page that the untold millions crush everyone in their way to get to it and worse, to buy it! And it is no wonder when the FTC steps in and puts an end to the suffering! This is indeed the reality of marketing online!

Of course in the beginning it was not such a large problem, now its big business. To successfully compete in today’s Direct Response Market, you have to provide your market with a carefully designed product.

If you are going to promote the $ millions $ to your prospective market, you have to give them something with which to work with. OK, lets look at this; if I lay out a program of marketing for $ millions $, it would go something like this:

  • *Decide On A Market To Sell To.
  • *Build A Website To Work From.
  • *Start Building A Prospect List.
  • *Design Your Products.
  • *Sell To Your Market.

That will pretty much do it and that is what most are still trying to market! This is where the problem comes in. This is a proven system …… a system that is bound to draw the attention of the FTC. With the above you tell me nothing …… except a method. It is exactly the same thing as saying that to reach the moon, you have to build a rocket! That is why the FTC steps in. You and your slick “Rocket-Man” landing page do nothing but strip money from your market. Trust me on this …… you’re adding a disclaimer on top of this dog and pony show ain’t going to get it.

Now What?
Let’s look at it in modern-day terms with the above “Rocket-Man” example:

  • *Finding A Location To Launch From.
  • *How To Build Your Infrastructure.
  • *Hiring The Skilled Professionals.
  • *Finding The Necessary Money.
  • *Designing The Right Vehicle.
  • *Engine Designs.

And on and on. However, let’s look at one component here; “Engine Designs”. As long as you provide a list of possible designs along with the blueprints and parts list, you are fine. Can you see it? The value is not that you need a rocket to reach the moon; the value is the ****** BLUEPRINTS AND PARTS LIST ****** that you have added to the “Engine Design” section.

Now the problem is that most Online, don’t know how to build a rocket! They tell you that you need a rocket, not how to build it. When you go to show people the video of the firing of your engine that you built and how you built it …… you ain’t going to have a problem!

Once again; telling me that you need a rocket to get to the moon is an abstract thought, showing me the building and firing of the rockets …… that’s as real as it gets!

As you produce your Online Direct Response Marketing Products, as long as you show them the firing of the rockets, you will never have any problems with what you are selling!
